Internet security is important, but how do you know if you are protected? Most people are scared of what’s out there trying to access their data, but don’t know of a way to find out how secure they are. That’s why I want to introduce everyone to a website that’s been around for a while, but is one of those treasures of the internet that not many people know about, Shields UP!!
Shields UP!! can be found at www.grc.com and was created by security expert Steve Gibson. Use is simple, run the tests on the page and the site will tell you how vulnerable you are to an attack. I recommend this site to anyone on the internet so that you will know what to look out for. Security is extremely important, and the only way to know what you need to do is to know your weaknesses.
