Today is election day in the states. It is the duty and right of those of us over the age of 18 to vote for the next set of leaders for our country. I want to encourage all of you citizens of the United States to get out and vote today! If you choose not to, then you give up your right to complain when the next president is chosen and you don’t like him.
I’d also like to encourage all Christians in this country to pray for our next president regardless of your personal beliefs about his politics. We have a history making event today, our next president may be African American, or our next vice president may be a woman. It is an exciting time for our country annd our Biblical duty to follow whomever is chosen, as the Bible says all authorities are ordained by God. Whether or not you voted for the winner, shouldn’t we lift up our next leader to God, and ask Him to guide? It’s certainly much better than complaining!
Happy election day folks!
